Active Dental in Texas seeks a Dental Assistant with 2+ years of hands-on experience to join a supportive, growth-focused team. You will assist with procedures, take digital X-rays, and maintain sterile, efficient clinical spaces while delivering an outstanding patient experience.

We value mentorship, ongoing education, and a culture of teamwork within a privately owned practice that has emphasized patient care for 14 years. This is a full-time role with a Saturday shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on dental assisting experience required.
• Valid Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
• Strong clinical competencies, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for patient care.
• Fully available to work the required schedule, including every Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Create a comfortable, welcoming, and anxiety-free experience for patients.
• Assist the dentist in all clinical procedures using four-handed dentistry.
• Take high-quality digital X-rays, set up/break down rooms, and maintain sterilization standards.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and clinical records.
• Educate patients empathetically about treatment plans.
• Participate in opening/closing duties and daily huddles as a team.

Position Schedule

This full‑time position requires a dedicated schedule to support our growing patient base:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday & Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Participating actively in opening/closing duties and daily huddles as a cohesive team.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands‑on dental assisting experience (Strictly Required).
• Licensure: Valid Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
• Skills: Strong clinical competencies, great organizational abilities, and sharp attention to detail.
