Cottage Lake Family Dentistry in Woodinville, WA is looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The role supports dentists with four-handed dentistry, takes X-rays, handles charting, and helps educate patients.

You will prepare operatories, sterilize equipment, and manage lab tasks with precision to ensure high-quality patient care. Ideal candidates will be proficient with practice management software, able to work independently, and hold CPR/BLS and radiology certifications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with dental management software (Open Dental or Dentrix).
• Ability to work independently.
• Comfort with taking impressions and making temporaries.
• Understanding of all aspects of dental assisting.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Radiology certification required.

Responsibilities

Dental Assistant / Woodinville, WA

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team at Cottage Lake Family Dentistry! We’re committed to providing modern, conservative care to all our patients, while making them feel like they’re right at home. Our team makes our patients feel confident in their smiles while creating lasting, meaningful relationships along the way.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8am-4pm, Alternating Fridays 8am-2pm

Compensation: $30-35/hour

Job responsibilities/duties:

• Preparing operatories for treatment

• Sterilizing instruments

• Directly assist dentist during procedures using four handed dentistry technique

• Take x-rays and intraoral photos

• Accurately and efficiently treatment plan based on doctor’s diagnosis

• Providing patient education and post-operative instruction

• Dental charting and coding

• Perform lab duties such as pouring models, taking impressions, and fabricating temporary crowns

• Administrative tasks such as answering phones, calling labs, and patient follow-up calls

• Stock supplies and maintain equipment

• Accurately document and maintain Patient Health Information

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in dental patient management software such as Open Dental or Dentrix

• Strong ability to work independently

• Can take impressions and is comfortable with making temporaries

• Understands all aspects of assisting

• CPR/BLS certification required

• Radiology Certification required
