  • Manage patient records using Dentrix with accurate documentation.
  • Provide patient care by taking vital signs and explaining procedures.
  • Maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality of patient information.
  • Coordinate patient flow efficiently.

  • Assist dentists chairside during various procedures, including restorative work, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
  • Take diagnostic x-rays and 3D scans while ensuring adherence to dental x-ray safety standards.
  • Manage patient records using Dentrix, ensuring accurate medical documentation.
  • Provide patient care by taking vital signs, explaining procedures, and addressing patient questions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Ensure clinical confidentiality policies are strictly followed to protect patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Coordinating patient flow efficiently.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant within a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and equipment.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with patient management software is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of infection control practices, including dental sterilization procedures, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection prevention protocols.
  • Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining safety standards for patients and staff.
  • Knowledge of clinical procedures related to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and anatomy knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members such as dental receptionists and other healthcare professionals.
