Job summary

Burton Dental Center is seeking a qualified Dental Assistant to join our caring team. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures, take vital signs, record medical history, and manage scheduling and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, excellent communication, strong computer and data-entry skills, and a commitment to high-quality patient care in a friendly practice environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ year of dental assisting
• Understanding of making temporaries and taking impressions
• Digital Scanning understanding
• Understanding of dental procedures and sterilization
• Competency with restorative, oral surgery and endodontics
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
