Job summary

Smile Brands is seeking a Dental Assistant in West Bend, Wisconsin to support dentists and specialists, prepare treatment rooms, take X-rays where permitted, and educate patients on oral care.

You'll work Monday-Thursday 8:00am–5:30pm in a collaborative clinical team with opportunities to grow your skills, participate in infection control, and deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Meet state credentialing requirements for dental assistants.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but qualified new assistants may be considered depending on state requirements.

Overview

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care and helping the clinical team provide high-quality dentistry.

You’ll work alongside dentists, specialists and other dental professionals to help patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit. From preparing patients and treatment rooms to assisting during procedures and educating patients, your work makes a difference every day.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday-Thursday 8:00am - 5:30pm

Responsibilities

• Maintain appropriate infection control, sterilization and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies.
• Support an efficient, organized clinical environment.
• Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient.
• Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before your start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine commitment to patient care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive, dependable and willing-to-learn attitude.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but qualified new dental assistants may be considered depending on the practice and state requirements.
