More about the role

  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment
  • Review patient health history for quality care
  • Take and process X-rays and diagnostic assessments
  • Provide chairside assistance during procedures, following state regulations
  • Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
  • Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines
  • Manage supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed
  • Collaborate with team to implement systems and maximize workflow

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Dental assistant and X-ray certification as required by state law
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to protect patient information and comply with HIPAA

Preferred Experience

  • 1+ years in a dental setting
  • Experience with Dentrix or similar software
  • Dental assisting certification

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations
  • Prolonged sitting and standing
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Availability for periodic training sessions
  • TB test required prior to employment, except in FL & TN
