The Smilist Dental in Wading River, NY is seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on supporting clinicians, maintaining a clean and sterile environment, and ensuring patient comfort throughout procedures.

Responsibilities include preparing trays, assisting during treatments, and coordinating with front desk staff. Prior Dentrix experience is preferred, but not required. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures.
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Position Details

• Schedule:Part Time - Thursdays ONLY (7:45am-5pm)
• Salary Range:$20.00-$25.00/hour
• Location:Wading River, NY
