Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Dental Assistant in Vacaville, CA. This contract-full-time role supports the dentist during patient care, prepares rooms and tools, handles intake paperwork, updates records, and sterilizes instruments. CPR and state licensing may be required by contract and regulations.

Qualifications

Location: Vacaville, CA

The Dental Assistant provides support to the dentist during patient care and completes the preparation of the room and dental tools/equipment. The Dental Assistant completes intake paperwork, updates patient records, sterilizes and organizes dental tools, and assists during any dental procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Current License/Certificate within state of practice
• One year experience as Dental Assistant preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
