Job summary

Adventure Dental & Vision in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients.

Primary duties include collecting and documenting patient records, taking radiographs, writing notes, educating patients about oral health, sterilizing instruments, and keeping the office clean and welcoming. The role offers a competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Radiology education and training meeting state requirements.
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor and ability to listen to patients and parents.
• Ability to multitask and complete dental tasks accurately and on time.
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus.
• Previous experience in a dental office preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records.
• Obtain quality dental radiographs (periapicals, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentist.
• Write accurate and consistent notes, ensuring chart notes match services completed.
• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral health.
• Organize and sterilizing dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards.
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.

Adventure Dental & Vision in Tulsa, OK, is currently seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients.

Pay range: $16-$24/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records
