Job summary

Finger Lakes Dental of Victor is a fast-paced dental office that delivers VIP treatment to every patient. We are seeking a full-time dental assistant to join our team.

As a chairside assistant, you will support the dentist, maintain a sterile environment, perform dental imaging, educate patients, and manage electronic charting, ensuring a smooth, productive day for the team. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of chairside experience; NYS Dental Assistant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of chairside assisting in a dental office.
• NYS Dental Assistant Certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and anticipate the dentist during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile, infection-control environment.
• Perform dental imaging as directed.
• Educate patients on procedures and aftercare.
• Enter and manage patient records electronically.
• Support other team members to keep the schedule smooth.

We are looking for a full time dental assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

Schedule for this position will be as follows

• Monday 6:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Tuesday 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Wednesday 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Thursday 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Friday Office is closed

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of chairside assisting experience in a dental office
• NYS Dental Assistant Certificate (preferred, but not required)

Hourly Rate:$20.00 - $27.00 per hour based on experience.
