Job summary

Finger Lakes Dental of West Henrietta is seeking a full-time dental assistant to join our fast-paced, patient-focused team. We pride ourselves on VIP patient care and a supportive work environment where staff are valued and encouraged to grow.

Responsibilities include assisting the dentist, maintaining a sterile environment, performing dental imaging, educating patients, and updating electronic charts; you will also help teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of chairside assisting experience in a dental office.
• NYS Dental Assistant Certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and anticipate the Dentist during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment.
• Perform dental imaging as needed.
• Educate patients about treatments and care.
• Keep electronic charting up to date.
• Support other team members to ensure a smooth day.

We are looking for a full time dental assistant to join our team.

Schedule For This Position Will Be As Follows

• Monday Office Closed
• Tuesday 6:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Wednesday 6:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Thursday 6:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Friday 6:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of chairside assisting experience in a dental office
• NYS Dental Assistant Certificate (preferred, but not required)

Hourly Rate

$20.00 - $27.00 per hour based on experience.
