Job summary

CFG Health Systems, LLC seeks a Dental Assistant to provide direct support to the Dentist in delivering high-quality care to inmate patients within a correctional facility. You will help ensure efficient, safe, and compliant dental operations.

Required credentials include a CDA, high school diploma, completion of an accredited dental program, state X-ray license, and BLS certification. Experience in a clinical dental setting is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentist during procedures, including preparing instruments, suction, and retraction.
• Sterilize instruments and disinfect operatories between patients.
• Assist with diagnostic X-rays and preparation of dental materials.
• Maintain accurate patient dental charts and record findings.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventative care.
• Inventory and order supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Maintain infection control policies, universal precautions, and OSHA guidelines.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
