Job summary

CFG Health Systems LLC seeks a Dental Assistant to support dentists in a correctional facility, ensuring safe, compliant care for inmate patients. You will prepare instruments, assist with procedures, perform sterilization, and maintain patient charts with attention to privacy and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • BLS certification and infection control knowledge are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Dentist during procedures, including instrument prep and suction.
  • Sterilize instruments and disinfect operatories between patients.
  • Assist with X-rays and prepare dental materials as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient charts and educate on oral hygiene.
  • Manage supplies and ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA.

Position SummaryThe Dental Assistant provides direct support to the Dentist in delivering high-quality dental care to inmate patients within the correctional facility.
