ResponsibilitiesDuties
- Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures in a friendly, professional manner
- Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures (fillings, crowns, extractions, etc.)
- as needed
- Set up and break down treatment rooms before and after procedures, ensuring sterilization protocols are followed
- Take accurate patient vitals and update health history at each appointment
- Mix and handle dental materials (e.g., impression materials, cements, composites)
- Educate patients on post-op care and treatment instructions
- Document treatment notes accurately in the patient's chart
- Track lab cases and ensure timely delivery and readiness
- Monitor inventory and notify team when supplies are low
- Follow all infection control and safety procedures
- Be a team player and assist wherever needed in the office
QualificationsPreferred Skills
- Strong chairside assisting skills with knowledge of common dental procedures
- Excellent communication skills—able to clearly explain procedures and comfort patients
- Ability to anticipate the dentist’s needs during procedures
- Skilled in taking and processing dental x-rays (digital preferred)
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols
- Proficient in dental charting and basic understanding of dental terminology

Additional InformationExpected hours: 33 – 39 per week
