Dental365's Cosmetic Dentistry of Long Island is seeking a dental assistant to welcome patients, assist the dentist, and ensure infection control in a modern, patient-focused practice in Woodbury, NY.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients with a smile, making them comfortable.
• Assist the Dentist through a variety of procedures.
• Taking digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
• Ensure infection control by sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Sanitizing and prepping operatories for treatments.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary

HIRING SCHEDULE:

• Monday: 10:00am-6:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:30am-6:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:00am-4:00pm
• Thursday: 8:30am-6:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am-4:00pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcoming patients with a smile, making them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
• Assist the Dentist through a variety of procedures
• Taking digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed
• Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Sanitizing and prepping operatories for respective treatments.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, prioritizing a secure and healthy environment.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed
• Perform various office tasks as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior dental assisting experience required.
• Any certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.
• A resume showcasing a consistent and stable employment history.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, delivering exceptional patient experiences.
