Qualifications

• Licensed/certified dental assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists in the clinical treatment of patients
• Assist in crown procedures, including making temporary crown
• Take necessary x-rays, impressions, etc
• Sterilize instruments, prepare exam rooms and ensure necessary equipment is ready for dentists
• Discuss treatment plans with patients in a clear, understandable manner
• Educate patients about oral health and treatment
• Welcoming and helpful attitude to patients and team members
• Complete chart review and detailed chart notes for each patient

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist dentists in the clinical treatment of patients
• Assist in crown procedures, including making temporary crown
• Take necessary x-rays, impressions, etc
• Sterilize instruments, prepare exam rooms and ensure necessary equipment is ready for dentists
• Discuss treatment plans with patients in a clear, understandable manner
• Educate patients about oral health and treatment
• Welcoming and helpful attitude to patients and team members
• Complete chart review and detailed chart notes for each patient
• Must be available to work:
  • Monday-Thursday – 7:30-5:30pm

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

• Registered Dental Assistant License or Certified Dental Assistant
• X-Ray Certification
• Experience working as a dental assistant (1-2 years)

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

• Nitrous Oxide Certification
• Experience with Patterson’s Eaglesoft system
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Prioritize patient rapport and excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
