What You’ll Do

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play an important role in both the clinical experience and the patient’s overall experience.

Responsibilities include

• Provide confident four-handed chairside assistance


• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for general and surgical procedures


• Assist with restorative, surgical and advanced dental procedures


• Take and manage diagnostic X-rays


• Assist with treatment charting and clinical documentation


• Educate and communicate with patients throughout their appointments


• Set up, break down and sterilize rooms, instruments and equipment


• Maintain proper infection-control and OSHA standards


• Help keep the clinical schedule running efficiently


• Anticipate the doctor’s needs and help create an exceptional patient experience

• Previous professional Dental Assistant experience


• Current X-Ray Certification


• Strong four-handed dentistry skills


• Excellent communication and patient-care skills

• Surgical dentistry experience


• Implant dentistry experience


• All-on-X / full-arch experience


• CEREC experience


• Denture and removable experience


• Sedation dentistry experience


• Nitrous and/or anesthesia/sedation monitoring certification


• Current BLS/CPR certification
