Scottsdale Elite Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a private general dental practice in Scottsdale, AZ. The role requires a motivated, dependable, team-oriented professional with at least 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities include chairside assisting, radiographs, CT scans, patient prep, and helping with implants and surgeries. We emphasize preventive care, cosmetics, implants, and oral surgery in a calm, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years dental assisting experience.
• Experience in Oral Surgery and taking radiographs.
• Ability to take CT scans and prepare patients for procedures.
• Experience presenting treatment plans.
• Experience charting and documenting notes.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during procedures such as fillings, crowns, implants, and surgeries.
• Take radiographs and CT scans as needed.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist with post-procedure cleanup.
• Sterilize dental tools and maintain a sterile environment.
• Chart treatment plans and notes.

Dental Assistant Job description:

• Experienced in Oral Surgery
• Taking radiographs
• Taking CT scans
• Preparing patients for procedures and/or surgeries
• Assisting with procedures such as fillings, crowns, implants, and oral surgeon.
• Making dental impressions
• Sterilizing dental tools and equipment
• Post-procedure clean-up
• Generally chairside assisting dentists and lab work.
• Charting existing dentistry, treatment plans and chart notes
• Knowledge of Denture a plus
• Knowledge and experience presenting treatment plans
