Join Our Team as a Dental Assistant at York County Community Action Corporation

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at York County Community Action Corporation. This is a full-time position working 52 weeks per year, 40 hours per week.

Compensation: Hourly rate ranges from $21.00 to $23.00, commensurate with experience and education.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with health professionals to provide comprehensive primary care dental services within the Patient-Centered Medical Home model.
2. Serve as a chair-side assistant to dentists and dental hygienists, adhering to state regulations and practice protocols.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years' experience in a dental practice preferred.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting course.
• Valid Maine radiographic certification or willingness to obtain one within six months of hire.
• Certified Dental Assistant standing.
• Proof of immunity or immunization for MMR, Hep B, Influenza (annually), and COVID primary series.

We are open to hiring ambitious candidates who will complete on-the-job training and support obtaining Maine radiographic certification.
