Job summary

Lewis & Hawn in Sandpoint, Idaho, is seeking an experienced dental assistant who values patients and teamwork. This role emphasizes relationship building, patient care, and a supportive team environment focused on whole‑body health and wellness.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists in delivering outstanding patient care with confidence, professionalism, and compassion.
• Assist with a variety of procedures including CEREC same‑day crowns, implants, root canal therapy, restorative treatment, extractions, airway orthodontics, and sleep‑related therapies.
• Capture digital impressions and occlusal registrations.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain strict infection control standards.
• Accurately document patient treatment information in our dental software.
• Help create an environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and comfortable.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Hourly Pay: $17.00 – $21.00++ per hour DOE.
• Additional Benefits Value: Approximately $4.00–$7.00+ per hour.

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Monday: 7:30 AM – 2:15 PM.
• Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 5:15 PM.
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:15 PM.
• Thursday: 7:30 AM – 2:15 PM (One staff meeting per month until 5pm).
• Friday: Enjoy a three-day weekend!
