Job summary

Swish Dental in Texas is seeking a highly motivated Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our caring team. You will assist the dentist during procedures, take radiographs, prepare and sterilize instruments, and ensure patient comfort throughout visits.

We value a team-first, patient-first mindset and require English fluency, familiarity with dental terminology, and basic computer skills. Texas RDA licensing comes after 1+ year certification, with CPR/BLS certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate of Completion from a Dental Assisting Course required.
• Texas RDA License required after 1+ years of certification.
• CPR and/or BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient rooms.
• Provide exceptional patient care throughout their visit.
• Take impressions of patients' teeth.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a 'team first' and 'patient first' mentality.
• Continuously increase dentistry knowledge and job skills.
• Adhere by State, Federal, and local compliance standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient rooms

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• This position may be required to sit or stand for long periods
