Job summary

Fairmont Family Dental in Pasadena, TX is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant. The role supports a fast-paced clinical team, handling chairside duties, radiographs, impressions, aligners, and implants, while using Open Dental for accurate patient documentation.

Qualified candidates will have at least two years of chairside experience, Open Dental familiarity, and CPR/First Aid certification. Expect competitive hourly pay, full-time benefits, and a collaborative work environment with growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years chairside dental assisting experience.
• Valid X-ray certificate required.
• Current CDA/RDA/EFDA license as per state requirements; CPR & first aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor chairside during a variety of restorative and comprehensive dental procedures.
• Prepare, organize, and break down treatment rooms efficiently.
• Take high-quality digital radiographs and dental impressions.
• Assist with clear aligner treatment and dental implant procedures.
• Utilize Open Dental to document patient care accurately.
• Educate and support patients throughout their treatment experience.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure a smooth clinical workflow.
• Anticipate the doctor's needs while delivering exceptional patient care.

Fairmont Family Dental is seeking an experienced, patient-focused Dental Assistant to become an integral part of our clinical team. We are a modern, technology-driven practice committed to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming and collaborative environment.

Schedule

• Tuesday–Friday
• 1–2 Saturdays per month
• Approximately 32 hours per week
• Eligible for full-time benefits

What You'll Do

• Experience with an iTero scanner is highly preferred
• Familiarity with clear aligner cases and implant procedures

Requirements

Education and Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
• Valid X-ray certificate.
• Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
• CPR & first aid certificate.
