Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Assist dentists during restorative, cosmetic, surgical, implant, and other dental procedures.
  • Take digital radiographs and other diagnostic records while following all safety protocols.
  • Manage patient records accurately using Dentrix and other digital systems.
  • Provide chairside assistance and ensure patient comfort throughout treatment.
  • Maintain infection control and sterilization standards according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
  • Assist with digital scanning, treatment presentations, and patient education.
  • Collaborate with the entire team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional customer service.
  • Help maintain inventory and organization of clinical areas.
Qualifications
  • Dental assisting experience preferred.
  • Radiology certification required.
  • Experience with Dentrix is a plus.
  • Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
