Join Our Team as a Dental Assistant at Big Smiles

Big Smiles, a leading in-school mobile dental program, is seeking a Dental Assistant in Oakland, CA. We provide essential dental care to underserved children directly at their schools, offering a unique work environment with a schedule that ends with the school day—no nights or weekends.

Qualifications:

• X-ray License
• Digital X-ray Imaging experience
• CPR certification
• Work experience as a Dental Assistant
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel
• Ability to work well with children
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
• Ability to carry up to 50 lbs
• Team player and able to work on a small team

Responsibilities:

• Providing dental assisting services during mobile clinics
• Digital X-ray imaging
• Patient records charting
• Equipment setup, breakdown, and sterilization
• Travel daily to school sites
