Job summary

Newtown Dentistry is seeking a dedicated dental assistant to support patients throughout their visits, from check-in to post-treatment follow-ups. You will assist with radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos, while maintaining sterilized rooms and accurate patient records.

The ideal candidate holds an active dental assistant license, CPR/BLS certification, and a CODA-accredited program. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential in our collaborative, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant
• 6+ months of experience as a dental assistant
• CPR or BLS certification
• Completion of a CODA accredited dental assisting program (preferred)
• Strong problem solving skills and integrity

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Quick learner with strong problem solving skills
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Comfortable with software used for charting, records, and scheduling
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
