Job summary

Riverdale Park Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a dedicated dental assistant to join our team in Maryland. You will support patients before, during, and after appointments, take radiographs and impressions, and help prepare and sterilize the treatment area.

The role emphasizes accurate charting, patient communication, and maintaining a clean, efficient environment. Qualified candidates will hold an active radiology license, at least 6 months of experience, CPR/BLS, and a CODA-accredited program is

Qualifications

  • Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state.
  • 6+ months of experience as a dental assistant.
  • CPR or BLS certification.
  • Completion of a CODA accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
  • Quick learner with strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Comfortable with software used for charting, records, and scheduling.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
