Job summary

The Smile Spa Of North Jersey is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join a supportive, positive team. You’ll help patients feel comfortable while assisting doctors and handling essential chair-side procedures.

You will setup rooms, take digital X-rays, follow infection-control protocols, document treatments, and contribute to a modern practice where growth and patient care come first.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of dental assisting experience.
• Hold a valid Dental X-Ray License.
• Understand dental procedures, terminology, sterilization, and infection control.
• Comfort learning and using modern dental technology.
• Be organized and keep calm during a busy day.
• Communicate well and enjoy connecting with patients.
• Be dependable, proactive, and supportive of the team.
• Bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with a variety of dental procedures.
• Set up treatment rooms and prepare instruments for appointments.
• Take digital X-rays, intraoral photos/scans, and impressions.
• Follow sterilization and infection-control protocols.
• Accurately document patient treatment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Assist with lab work, retainers, and dental appliances.
• Help keep appointments running smoothly and efficiently.
• Step in and support teammates as needed.
• Contribute to an experience that makes patients feel truly cared for.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You...
