Job summary

Smalltown Dental in Morton, Illinois is seeking a friendly dental assistant who thrives in a patient‑centered practice. You will prepare operatories, sterilize instruments, provide excellent care, and help with treatment planning and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and operatories for dental work
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control
• Provide friendly, high-quality patient care and education
• Chart patient needs and pending treatment
• Assist with treatment planning
• Operate and use X-ray equipment accurately
• Provide post-op instructions to patients
• Educate patients on procedures and oral health
• Fabricate temporary crowns and assist in crown fabrication
• Take impressions and create dental models
• Schedule patients for treatment and hygiene visits
• Coordinate referrals and labs

Day To Day Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and operatories for dental work
