Job summary

Fairview Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Mooresville, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Dental Assistant to join a long-tenured, patient-focused team. You’ll chairside assist dentists, prepare patients for treatments, and help maintain a clean, stocked operatory in a welcoming practice.

The role requires 2+ years of dental assisting, NC Dental Assistant II certification, and familiarity with instruments, sterilization, and Eaglesoft.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Dental Assistant II certification is required.
• 2+ years of dental assisting clinical experience.
• Dental Assistant training/school certification required.
• Experience with impressions and temporaries.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Experience with digital software, preferably Eaglesoft.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists chairside during procedures.
• Welcomes patients and prepares them for treatments or checkups.
• Maintain clean and stocked operatories and prepare instrumentation as needed.
• Perform instrument sterilization according to regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with lab tasks as instructed.
• Provide post-operative care instructions to patients.
