Fairview Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Mooresville, NC is seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You’ll assist dentists chairside, welcome patients, and prepare them for treatments while maintaining comfort and efficiency.

We offer a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive compensation based on experience, benefits including PTO, 401K, health/dental/vision insurance, and opportunities for career growth within a long-tenured team.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Dental Assistant II certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting clinical experience.
• Completion of accredited dental assistant training or schooling program.
• Experience with impressions and temporary crowns is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists chairside during procedures.
• Welcome patients and prepare them for treatments.
• Set up instrumentation and sterilize as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and post-operative instructions.
• Support lab tasks as instructed and maintain stocked operatories.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentists chairside
• Welcomes patients
• Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
• Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
• Instrument sterilization according to regulations
• Maintains accurate patient records
• Lab tasks as instructed
• Provide post-operative care instructions
• Maintain clean and stocked operatories

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Dental Assistant II certification required
• 2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience
• Dental Assistant training/school certification
• Experience with impressions, temporary's
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Experience with digital software, preferably Eaglesoft
• Excellent interpersonal skills
