Job summary

Montgomery Smiles is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist across a range of procedures in a friendly, patient-focused practice. Ideal candidates show empathy, patience, and a willingness to learn, with the ability to sterilize rooms, take X-rays, and manage patient records.

You will greet patients, assist during procedures, and help with scheduling and treatment follow-ups while upholding high professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Dental Assisting experience preferred.
• Outstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self-motivated work ethic.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with coworkers and patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure equipment is ready for dentists.
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Take and process X-rays of patients.
• Greet patients and schedule appointments; advise on oral hygiene.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures.
• Handle general administrative duties to support the practice.

The Dental Assistant “assists” our Dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
