Job summary

Deeb & Fanning DDS is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our practice and support the dentist during a variety of procedures. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, patient, and eager to help patients maintain optimal oral health.

The role includes preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and keeping accurate records. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Dental Assisting experience preferred.
• Outstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self-motivated work ethic.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with coworkers and patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure equipment is ready for procedures.
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Take and process X-rays of patients.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage basic administrative tasks.
• Advise patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures.

The Dental Assistant “assists” our Dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
