Job summary

Monroe Dental Arts in Monroe, CT is seeking a highly motivated full-time Dental Assistant to join a friendly, patient-focused team. You will greet patients, assist the doctor, set up trays, take x-rays, and help maintain a clean operatory.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service, willingness to learn, and be able to commute to Monroe. Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend software and x-ray certification preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Superior customer service and teamwork skills.
Ability to multitask in a busy practice.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat patients and liaise between patient and doctor.
Set up trays and prepare for daily charts.
Review schedules and anticipate doctor’s needs.
Chairside assisting using four-handed dentistry.
Enter treatment plans and take x-rays when needed.
Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
Sterilize instruments and maintain stocked supplies.
Communicate with patients to ensure comfort and understanding.

Job Role

Currently, we’re in search of a highly motivated Full-time Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat patients
Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts
Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
Enter treatment plans
Take x-rays as needed
Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
Take alginates/pour and trim models
Package and sterilize instruments
Keep operatory fully stocked
Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
