Job summary

Dental Innovations – Mesa in Mesa, AZ is hiring a Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This full-time, hourly role offers a Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM schedule, with compensation ranging from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour and a Monthly Team Performance Bonus.

You will perform chairside assisting, take digital X-rays, help with patient comfort and education, maintain operatory prep and sterility, document clinical notes, and support lab and inventory tasks while coordinating with front

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification required.
• Arizona Radiologic Proficiency (X-ray) certification required.
• Proven chairside assisting and digital imaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during general, cosmetic, and restorative procedures.

The Role: What You'll Do

As a Dental Assistant at Dental Innovations, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding clinical support and ensuring every patient enjoys a comfortable, seamless visit. Working alongside our talented doctors, you will facilitate efficient appointment flows, maintain rigorous safety standards, and act as a trusted guide for patients throughout their dental care journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Chairside Assisting: Provide proactive, skilled four-handed chairside assistance during a wide variety of general, cosmetic, and restorative procedures.
• Radiography: Take high-quality, diagnostic digital X-rays and intraoral images efficiently and safely.
• Patient Comfort & Education: Prepare patients for treatment, explain procedure steps clearly to ease anxieties, and review post-operative care instructions.
• Operatory & Instrument Prep: Maintain immaculate operatory setup, breakdown, and sterilization according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Clinical Documentation: Accurately update patient charts, clinical notes, and treatment plans within the dental practice management software.
• Lab & Inventory Support: Assist with lab case tracking, taking impressions/scans, pouring models, and keeping clinical supplies organized and stocked.
• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the front office and clinical teams to maintain an on-time daily schedule and a positive office culture.

What We Are Looking For

• Certifications (Required): Active Dental Assistant (DA) certification and Arizona Radiologic Proficiency (X-ray) certification.
• Clinical Confidence: Proven hands-on experience in chairside assisting, instrument sterilization, and digital imaging.
