Dental Assistant – Media, Pennsylvania

Position Overview: You will be an integral part of the care team, supporting the office and assisting the dental staff with treatment. Your focus will be on providing high‑quality patient care while working in a team‑based environment. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience.

Compensation: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
  • Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
  • Take and develop X‑rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
  • Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
  • Help dentists manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and managing emergency supplies.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on training.
  • X‑ray certification required.
  • Nitrous oxide certification highly recommended.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
