Job Description

Under the general direction of the Chief of Dentistry and the Manager of Dental Services, provides effective chairside assistance, maintenance, and administrative duties to promote efficiency and productivity for the Dentist and Dental Hygienist.

The candidate must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age, culture, ethnicity, and specific diagnostic needs of the patients served. They should be able to assess and interpret patient data to identify specific needs and provide appropriate care, considering patient groups such as pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations.

Consistently demonstrates compassion and courtesy towards patients and extends support to patients' families and visitors.

Qualifications:

• Dental Assistant Certificate as specified by state regulations
• X-ray certification as specified by state regulations
