Forest North Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our private practice, delivering exceptional patient care with a focus on comfort and efficiency.

We offer a competitive hourly rate ($25/hour based on experience), PTO plus holidays, comprehensive insurance options, and a 401(k) with employer match. Responsibilities include patient flow, assisting during exams, radiographs, and maintaining a clean, compliant clinical environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Dental Assisting experience.
• Ability to take xrays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and guide them to the appropriate treatment room
• Assist the doctor during exams and procedures
• Prepare hygiene operatories before and after patient appointments
• Assist hygienists chairside as needed during hygiene procedures
• Maintain knowledge of existing & emerging dental technologies
• Monitor and manage lab materials and supplies
• Build trusting, positive relationships with patients
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA protocols
• Clean, sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms
• Take, expose, and mount high‑quality dental radiographs
• Support team goals and daily practice efficiency
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure clinical environment

Schedule

• Monday: 7:30am -6:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:30am -5:00pm
• Wednesday: 7:30am -5:00pm
• Thursday: 7:30am -6:00pm
• Friday: 7:30am -2:30pm
• Saturday: OFF
• Sunday: OFF

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Dental Assisting experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Coronal Polishing and Sealant certification a plus!
