Pay Range

This range is provided by Pillar Health, a Division of Kenosha Community Health Center. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $21.00/hr

Hiring Bonus Opportunity

Earn up to $2,000 in bonuses by completing 90 days with perfect attendance, with additional bonuses every six months for up to two years.

Position Summary

The dental assistant’s primary responsibility is to assist the dentist with clinical procedures, including chair-side assisting, x-rays, impressions, and screening emergency patients. Training will be provided, and proficiency in routine procedures is expected by the end of the training period.

Primary Tasks and Duties

1. Prepare rooms for procedures and sterilization
2. Assist in patient care, including taking x-rays, recording histories, and preparing materials
3. Provide post-operative patient education
4. Utilize Electronic Health Records effectively

Position Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Dental Assistant Program preferred
• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
• Current immunizations and BLS certification required

Work Schedule

Open availability for up to 40 hours/week, primarily Monday-Thursday, 7am-7pm, Fridays, 7am-5pm, and Saturdays, 7am-3pm. The initial schedule involves four 10-hour shifts and one Saturday per month.
