Job summary

Konza Prairie Community Health Center in Junction City, KS is seeking a Dental Assistant to support patients and contribute to high-quality oral care within a collaborative, patient-centered team. You will assist with procedures, take and process dental X-rays, maintain infection control, and ensure a welcoming, efficient clinical environment.

Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential as you help patients feel at ease and supported.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certification preferred.
• Experience in a dental office or clinical setting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
• Proficiency in taking and processing dental X-rays.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to follow infection control protocols meticulously.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
