What you'll do

Pay information

• Competitive base pay PLUS ANNUAL BONUS!

What you'll bring to the team

• Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
• Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
• Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately

Requirements

Before applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below:

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, EFDA certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements per state regulations.
• Michigan: Evidence of X-ray training certification upon hiring; an 8-week period to submit if not possessed at hire.
• New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
• New York: Not applicable.
• Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit).
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE certification.

It would be even better if you also had

• 2+ years of dental assisting experience or relevant education
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus
