Job summary

Infinity Dental Care in Hillsboro, OR seeks a full-time Dental Assistant for 34-36 hours/week. The role supports the dentist chair-side, prepares patients and materials, and maintains records with a patient-focused, compassionate team approach.

Requirements include experience in a fast-paced dental office and x-ray certification. Pay ranges from $22 to $28 per hour, with benefits such as holidays, medical insurance, retirement plan, paid vacation, and dental care.

Responsibilities

• Chair-side assistance to the dentist.
• Set up equipment, prepare patients, and maintain records.
• Sterilize/disinfect instruments and prepare trays.
• Exposes and documents dental diagnostic X-rays.
• Take medical and dental histories and record vital signs.
• Fabricate temporary restorations or custom trays from impressions.
• Assist with surgical procedures; IV sedation experience is a plus.

Practice Details: WE are a well-established practice with an amazing team and we provide the very best dental care.

Our practice has a calm energy and caring patients who enjoy coming to our practice. We are open Monday through Thursday and two fridays a month

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist dentist chair-side.

Job Summary

• Assists the Dentist, sets up equipment, prepares patients for treatment, and keeps records.

General Accountabilities

• Prepares patient, sterilizes or disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, prepares materials, and assists dentist during dental procedures.

• Performs weekly spore tests and records them accurately and in timely manner(same day ).

• Records treatment information in patient records efficiently and systematically .

• Exposes and documents dental diagnostic x-rays.

• Takes and records patients medical and dental histories and vital signs.

• Fabricates temporary restorations or custom trays from preliminary impressions

• Makes accurate preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.

• knowledge of surgical procedure assistance is a big plus along with IV sedation procedure experiance in assistance
