Classic Dental Care in Gilbert, AZ seeks an experienced Dental Assistant to join our close-knit, tech-forward practice led by Dr. Aaron Kleiner.

You’ll support chairside procedures, manage instruments, and help deliver high-quality patient care in a modern setting. This full-time, 4-day workweek offers $22–$24 per hour DOE plus monthly performance bonuses; required AZ Radiologic Proficiency Certificate, CPR/BLS, and 1–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant Certification from an accredited program or equivalent.
• Arizona Radiologic Proficiency Certificate (AZ Board) active.
• CPR/BLS certification for healthcare providers (required).
• 1–3 years of hands-on dental assisting experience (required).
• Strong interpersonal communication and compassionate chairside manner.
• Familiarity with digital X-rays, dental software, modern instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during restorative, cosmetic, crown/bridge, endodontic and oral surgery procedures.
• Greet patients, ensure comfort, guide procedures, and provide post-operative instructions.
• Capture digital X-rays and intraoral photos to aid diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Set up/break down operatory, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA/CDC compliance.
• Update electronic health records, chart treatment notes, and assist with inventory.

We are seeking an energetic, reliable Dental Assistant with 1–3 years of experience to join our collaborative team full-time across a 4-day workweek.

Position Summary

As our Dental Assistant, you will serve as a vital clinical partner to Dr. Kleiner and our hygiene team. You will drive smooth daily chairside operations, ensure optimal patient comfort, capture high-quality digital diagnostics, and maintain meticulous operatory readiness in a modern, tech-forward clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Chairside Assisting: Assist Dr. Kleiner during a wide variety of comprehensive dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, crown/bridge, endodontic, and oral surgery visits.
• Patient Comfort & Care: Greet patients, prepare them for procedures, guide them through treatment steps with empathy, and clearly communicate post-operative instructions.
• Digital Diagnostics: Capture crisp, low-radiation digital X-rays (Dexis/Dentiray) and intraoral photos to assist with doctor diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Operatory & Instrument Management: Set up, breakdown, and thoroughly sanitize treatment rooms; clean, sterilize, and package clinical instruments adhering to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Clinical Admin & Inventory Support: Update electronic health records accurately, chart treatment notes, track lab cases, and assist with monitoring dental supply inventories.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Dental Assistant Certification: Graduated from an accredited Dental Assisting program or holding a recognized Dental Assistant Certification (required).
• Arizona Radiologic Proficiency Certificate: Active AZ Radiologic Proficiency Certificate issued by the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners (required).
• CPR/BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification for healthcare providers (required).
• Experience: 1–3 years of hands‑on dental assisting experience (required).
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with digital X-rays, electronic dental software, and modern dental instrumentation.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication, strong detail orientation, and a warm, compassionate chairside manner.
