Ideal candidates have X-ray certification, strong communication skills, and a patient-focused approach. Dental assisting education or certification is preferred; EFDA or coronal polishing credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required or in progress.
  • X-ray certification is required.
  • Dental assisting education or certification preferred.
  • EFDA or coronal polishing certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable during visits.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, equipment, and materials.
  • Assist doctors using four-handed dentistry.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards.
  • Keep rooms clean, organized, and stocked.
  • Complete laboratory tasks as directed.
  • Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative guidance.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Assist with scheduling and other patient-related needs.
  • Help create a positive, efficient experience for patients and the team.

What We're Looking For
  • Dental assisting experience preferred
  • X-ray certification required
  • Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and infection-control procedures

  • Organized, dependable, and attentive to detail
  • Comfortable using computers and dental office technology
  • High school diploma or equivalent
