Specific Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Assist experienced dentists chairside, using four-handed dentistry.
  • Preparation of treatment rooms, ensuring instruments and equipment are sterile.
  • Breakdown of treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments are returned for sterilization promptly.
  • Daily morning meeting and team schedule review, anticipating the doctor's needs in advance.
  • Set up trays as indicated by the day's charts and doctor's anticipated needs.
  • Greet, seat, and screen patients - communicating patient concerns effectively to the doctor.
  • Take alginates, pour and trim models or scan utilizing the iTero scanner.
  • Take diagnostic x-rays (PA, Bitewing, Panoramic, 3D/CBCT) as needed.
  • Keep operatory fully stocked.

Requirements:

  • Superior customer service skills, with the ability to infuse personality, empathy, and enthusiasm into each patient contact.
  • Dental assisting experience.
  • Radiation Health Safety and Infection Control Certifications.
  • Willingness to learn & grow.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • A desire to become part of our family-oriented team & support our mission to deliver the best patient experience possible!
  • Availability to work some evenings and occasional Saturdays.
