Responsibilities:

1. Assist dentists during dental procedures, including chairside assisting and instrument passing.
2. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols.
3. Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
4. Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit.
5. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
7. Perform various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
3. X-ray certification preferred.
4. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant preferred.
