Job summary

Elite Dental Care in Dyersburg, TN is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our clinical team. You will work chairside with dentists for restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures, ensuring efficient patient flow and adherence to safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of chairside experience, TN RDA license, and radiology certification, with CPR/BLS; nitrous oxide or coronal polishing certifications are a plus. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of active chairside dental assisting experience.
• Active Tennessee RDA License and Tennessee Radiology Certification.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Nitrous Oxide and/or Coronal Polishing certifications preferred (or willing to obtain).
• Proficient in 4-handed dentistry, digital radiography, dental software systems, and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a wide range of procedures.
• Welcome patients, review health histories, and provide post-operative care instructions.
• Prepare, sanitize, and stock treatment rooms in line with OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos as directed by the doctor.
• Prepare clinical documentation, impressions, models, and manage lab cases.
• Participate in morning huddles and support team flow throughout the day.

Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dedicated team in Dyersburg, TN.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Assist the dentist chairside during a wide range of restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures using smooth, four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Patient Care & Communication: Welcome patients, review health histories, explain procedures clearly, ease anxiety, and provide comprehensive post-operative care instructions.
• Operatory Management: Prepare, sanitize, and stock treatment rooms before and after procedures in strict compliance with OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Diagnostics & Radiography: Take crisp, accurate digital X-rays and intraoral photos as directed by the doctor.
• Lab & Records: Prepare clinical documentation/notes efficiently, take impressions, pour and trim models, and manage lab cases accurately. Use digital scanning technology to increase patient satisfaction for prosthetics.
• Team Collaboration: Participate actively in morning huddles, maintain proactive communication with front-office staff, and support team flow throughout the day.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of active, chairside dental assisting experience is highly preferred.
• Licensure/Certifications: Active Tennessee Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License.
• Tennessee Radiology Certification required.
• Active CPR/BLS Certification.
• Nitrous Oxide and/or Coronal Polishing certifications preferred (or willing to obtain).
• Clinical Skills: Proficient in 4-handed dentistry, digital radiography, dental software systems, and infection control protocols.
• Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, reliable work ethic, attention to detail, positive attitude, and a commitment to exemplary patient care.
