Correctional medicine offers a challenging and exciting opportunity for today’s dental professionals, allowing you to utilize your skills and knowledge fully. It combines aspects of Outpatient and Urgent/Emergency Dentistry, serving an underserved and diverse patient population.

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team at the Bucks County Department of Corrections.

This position requires up to 24 hours of on-site dental care weekly. The weekly schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Requirements:

- An associate's or bachelor's degree in dental assisting from an accredited college or university
- Licensed dental assistant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with patients/inmates
- Ability to monitor, observe, and document patients
