CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Escort patients and ensure proper treatment notes are recorded.
2. Perform clinical procedures as allowed and directed by the dentist.
3. Provide patient instructions and monitor patient flow.
4. Maintain dental units, instruments, and treatment rooms.
5. Sterilize instruments and organize supplies.
6. Prepare patient charts and radiographs for upcoming appointments.

MINIMUM OBJECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic life support certification
• Current Delaware X-ray certification
• Six months experience with Microsoft Office and electronic dental/medical records
• Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program or relevant experience
