Job summary

SALT Dental Partners in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a dedicated Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our exceptional dental team. This role is pivotal in providing patient care and ensuring a supportive and professional environment. Candidates should have at least six months of experience and be certified in CPR or BCLS. You will be responsible for assisting with treatment procedures, engaging with patients, and managing dental records that ensure seamless patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile.
• Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable before, during, and after their appointment about their treatment and oral health.
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions and intraoral photos.
• Prepare and sterilize treatment room and equipment.
• Provide chair‑side assistance to providers during treatment procedures.
• Document dental care services by charting in patients’ records.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient‑centric working environment.

Qualifications

• Six (6) or more months of practical experience as an Endodontic dental assistant.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Completion of a CODA‑accredited dental assisting program (Preferred).
• Quick learner with problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Technical and troubleshooting skills for software applications used for charting, patient records, scheduling, etc.
• Must be able to travel between Beavercreek and West Chester location.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
• Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
