Dcotx Staffing is partnering with a well-regarded dental practice in the North Dallas area to hire a Dental Assistant for a 6-month contract. The role offers flexible scheduling with both part-time and full-time options and 20–50 hours per week based on availability.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of hands-on experience or are graduates of an accredited dental assisting program. CPR certification is required or obtainable, with opportunities to expand skills and potentially pursue EFDA

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on dental assisting experience, OR a recent graduate of an accredited dental assisting program.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, friendly demeanor with patients of all ages.
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsabilités

• Assist dentist during various dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
• Provide chairside assistance and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Manage infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
• Perform front office duties as needed including scheduling and patient communication.

About the Opportunity

Our staffing firm is partnering with an established dental practice in North Dallas with an excellent reputation in the community. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant for a 6‑month contract position starting as soon as possible.

Employment Type: Contract (6 months)

Schedule: Flexible - Part‑time or Full‑time available

Hours: 20‑50 hours per week (based on your availability)

Location: Preston @ i635

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentist during various dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
